This week we started learning the song “Boom Boom Beat,” this is the first piece of music we are learning for our music incursion. We listened to the piece of music listening carefully for important features and instruments used.

After this we learnt a body percussion ostinato (repeated pattern) and performed it as a class.

Next week we are going to transfer what we learnt from the body percussion activity onto percussion instruments.
